Bridging Research, Practice and Global Perspectives

As Director & Designer at Ginlee Studio Pte Ltd, Gin Lee has always embraced the philosophy of lifelong learning. “I am a firm believer in continuous learning,” she shared. When she discovered NUS Executive Education courses, she was drawn to how seamlessly the faculty blended cutting-edge research with the realities of business practice. “The professors were not only experts in their fields but also had industry experience, which made their perspectives especially credible and relatable,” she noted. This mix of scholarship and practicality gave her frameworks she could immediately apply to her own work.

(Gin Lee participated in the Financial Analysis and Business Decisions for Non-Finance Managers course in 2023 and the Enterprise Leadership for Transformation programme in 2024.)

Equally transformative was the breadth of perspectives from her peers. With participants representing industries from finance to technology, and regions spanning Asia and beyond, every discussion offered a fresh lens. “Learning alongside peers from a wide range of industries and geographies added tremendous value. The diversity of perspectives helped me see challenges from new angles, and the networking opportunities created connections I continue to draw on today,” she reflected.

For Gin Lee, the experience reaffirmed her conviction that continuous education is no longer optional. “The world of business is evolving so quickly that continuous education isn’t just an option — it’s a necessity,” she emphasised. She sees NUS Executive Education as a way for leaders to stay sharp, adaptable, and future-ready in an environment where change is constant.

Gin Lee’s story demonstrates how impactful learning happens when research-driven faculty, diverse cohorts, and a commitment to lifelong growth come together — equipping leaders not just to succeed in today’s business world, but to shape tomorrow’s.
