For Priyanka Natasha Dubey (IHRP-SP), learning has always been more than a professional requirement—it is a lifelong commitment. A firm believer in continuous growth, she has consistently sought opportunities to expand her knowledge and sharpen her skills. When she discovered NUS Executive Education, she found programmes that not only resonated with her philosophy of lifelong learning but also aligned perfectly with the rapidly evolving HR landscape. (Priyanka participated in the Strategic Human Resource Management and Labour and Employment Law programmes in 2025.)
“The curriculum is very relevant and applicable to the changing global HR landscape,” she explained. “It is critical for HR practitioners to be in the know of the new skill sets needed to be competent business partners.”
As a working professional, flexibility was an important factor in Priyanka’s decision to enrol. The course’s thoughtful scheduling allowed her to balance work responsibilities while engaging fully in her learning journey. “I appreciate the flexibility as we are working professionals and naturally need to place our work as a priority. With this structure, I was able to complete both my work and the course,” she shared. This balance not only made her learning possible, but also inspired her to continue enrolling in more courses.
One of the key aspects Priyanka values is the micro-credential system, which enables learners to stack credits towards advanced degrees. “What I also like very much is that we earn micro-credits towards the MBA or EMBA. This motivates me to plan and pursue a Master’s with NUS in the near future,” she said. The credits, combined with the relevant and future-focused content, have encouraged her to think strategically about her career pathway.
Reflecting on her experience, Priyanka emphasises the practical impact of the course. “The knowledge and skills I attained are very relevant to my work, and I can apply them moving into the future. It has also given me deeper insights into the future of work in HR and what it entails, equipping me for my future role in the profession.”
For Priyanka, the journey does not end here. She is already planning her next steps in building towards an MBA or EMBA with NUS—continuing her commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence.
