Samuel Lim is Co-Chief Executive Officer of EastGate Capital Management, a Singapore-based real estate fund manager focused on thematic investment strategies in Japan. ECM is part of EastGate Group, one of Japan’s largest independent real estate investment managers, with over JPY750 billion in assets under management.

Samuel joined ECM at its inception in 2022, establishing its flagship Life Sciences and R&D fund and leading strategy, investment execution and fund management. Before ECM, Samuel was with ARA Asset Management, where he led investments and asset management for value-add private funds. He previously held senior roles at Far East Organization. Samuel holds an MBA (Honors Distinction) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore.
