Learn strategies and skills to better manage and motivate difficult colleagues.

Many of us, at some point in our careers, deal with challenging colleagues, unmotivated subordinates, difficult bosses and customers.

This course focuses on the complexities of managing and motivating challenging employees in a professional setting. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the factors that contribute to difficult employee behaviors and will be equipped with a comprehensive toolkit of strategies and skills to effectively manage and motivate these employees.

Through this course, participants will explore:

  • Techniques for identifying difficult employees.
  • An in-depth examination of what makes employees difficult, using the Interactionist framework.
  • The impact of organizational structures, reward systems, management styles, and individual characteristics on employee behaviors.
