OVERVIEW

This course focuses on financial analysis, which is an essential exercise when understanding and valuing an enterprise. We will discuss how to read and analyse the performance of companies using financial statements, which represent managers’ views of the company’s financial position. Additionally, we will examine various accounting standards and disclosure practices, as well as the concerns and incentives of management when preparing financial statements. This course will be helpful for managers who want to understand how their decisions might impact their company’s profitability and valuation.
