Robin Lee is currently the General Manager, APAC for HAWK, a RegTech technology solution that offers an Anti-Financial Crime platform.

Robin started his career as a developer in Silicon Valley before moving to Wall Street where he worked as an analyst in the hedge fund space covering Technology. He then moved to the RegTech/Start-Up space which included 7 start up launches, 2 acquisitions, multiple board roles and 2 books.

Robin’s experience also includes a product role at the International Compliance Association, a strategic role at Thomson Reuters/Refinitiv/LSEG and VP, APAC/Head of APAC/Board Advisor for Napier Technologies, which he helped grow headcount from 35 to 260 (0 to 60 in APAC).

In addition to his role at Hawk, Robin is also currently the Vice Chair for the APAC Chapter of the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime and, recently, the Global FinTech Liaison for a US Department of Justice’s FinTech Sector Public Dialogue (FSPD), the DOJ’s Public-Private Partnership focusing on the FinTech space.
