NIHA Healthcare Leadership Program

Public Health issues will be among the most serious challenges in Asia in the coming years. Many developing countries in Asia will face tremendous strain as important resources are still lacking.

For example, rapid economic growth in Asia has spawned an epidemic of chronic disease. Associated environmental degradation and pollution add to the burden of environmentally-related disease. In addition, widening income gaps create health financing challenges that limit access to health care. Massive urban-to-rural migrations exacerbate the situation while growth in international travel increases the potential for epidemics to spread rapidly around the world.

These increasingly complex healthcare demands in Asia will require more holistic insights and integrative solutions. The NIHA Healthcare Leadership Program presents a unique opportunity for healthcare leaders to enhance their leadership acumen and decision making abilities to address these complexities.
